Boschkloof Eco Estate recently selected Live Wire Electric Fencing to do the upgrade on their existing fence, installing an Optic Fibre Communication cable for communication and the Synchronisation of all the energizers pulsing the fence. The new law requires all energisers be synchronized so that they all pulse at the same time. This incredible system uses the latest Sage Computer based Management System on a Notebook or Keypad in the Guard House.

There is a Master Energizer connected to the Notebook or Keypad that communicates to all the Slave Units via Optic Fibre Cable, which in turn indicates any breaches in security thus setting off the fence alarm:  cut wires, loose wires, wires touching, low battery/voltage as well as tampering with the Energizers.

There are 2 Master Slave Systems available:  Option 1 can can be operated from a Single Keypad which will monitor up to 20 zones.  Option 2 is a bigger System which will monitor 60 or more Energisers from a Notebook.  The individual Energizers can be switched off/on, reset, put into low / high voltage mode and gate opening notifications, all from the keypad or Notebook.

The Notebook System incorporates a Google Map of the Estate or farm which shows the fence zones clearly marked and is very simple to use. The software gives detailed Real Time recording and can be accessed through remote access if required.

With the new electric fencing laws being introduced in October this year, Live Wire Electric Fencing is well on the way to being fully accredited.  The new laws will mean that all Electric Fencing Companies must be fully accredited and compliant.
